Our House Brews

Not all kava and kratom are prepared the same. At The Zen Den, our kava is hand-squeezed in-house the traditional way, delivering a smoother, cleaner shell with every pour. Our kratom is brewed fresh and properly filtered, so you won’t get the dark, gritty, grainy texture you might find elsewhere. Just a clean, consistent tea made for a better experience. This is a wonderful spot! The atmosphere, people, and overall vibe are unbeatable. Hands down the best tea in the Bay Area. The management is genuinely caring and top-notch—they've gotten to know me so well over the past year+ that they often anticipate what I need before I even say it. The owner, Caleb, is especially warm and welcoming. I can't recommend it enough as the perfect place to relax, unwind, or just kill time.

There are very few family run kava & tea houses that refuse to compromise on the quality of their product. More Importantly, they ensure that every customer is well educated and comfortable with what they’re putting in their body.

The zen den firmly stood against 7Hydroxy and has always placed the quality of its natural product and well being of its customers above all things.

In a world of corporations looking to get rich off of people seeking an alcohol alternative - it’s a blessing to have an access to a family business focused on the health and well being of people seeking a better life.

Also they have 2 pool tables and a thriving pool community so I always get some games in. The tables play well which is also rare for a kava bar!

Loved my trip to The Zen Den - there was music and two pool tables that are in great condition. The staff was very chill & offered a tasty recommendation for a beverage. Good prices too. There is also an outdoor lounging area that can be nice to hangout at with some friends when weather permits. Check it out!

The owner and staff are super knowledgeable, helpful, and just plain down-to-earth humans. If you're new to these plants, just pop in and start asking questions. The Zen Den is one of our favorite hang out spots. This business is the cleanest and best run Kava shop we have been to. Great energy with knowledgeable and caring staff.
